I am often asked to speak with animals after they have transitioned from this life to the next. As you can imagine, the humans have mixed emotions about the loss of their beloved pets. Most often, there is much sadness, regret and guilt associated with the passing of the animals.
Since talking with animals about death and dying, I have found peace around this subject. Much of the fear that I used to have about death has been transmuted to love. One thing that I can tell you, is that 100% of the animals that I have spoken with after transitioning are completely happy, healthy and fulfilled. They are super excited to talk to their people and when I see the animals appear, they are in their healthiest bodies. I always see the animals as they were when they were in their prime.
To the animals, the moment of death is the most important moment of their lives. Although birth is joyous and love filled, to the animals, their death is a monumental celebration. They did it! They came here to earth, experienced life, and are now going home to the heavens.
The Transition
The Transition is truly a celebration. All of the animals report that they ascended into the White Light. The White Light is God. No one travels alone. We each have Guides, Angels and Loved Ones with us on this journey and they are with us when we go home. Some of the animals go up to the heavens by walking up a White Light Staircase, others climb a White Light Ladder or go up on a White Light Elevator. One dog used his imagination and took a White Light Cherry Picker up to heaven. Sometimes they go into the Light like Patrick Swayze did in the movie Ghost. And he is correct when he says, “You can take all the love with you.”
The Initiation
The way that the animals explain it to me, is that we all, humans and animals alike, go through what is called The Initiation. The Initiation consists of the three days after transitioning in which all souls go into the Iridescent White Light. This Light is the Light of God. We truly do meet the Divine and in this space our energy is recalibrated to the frequency of pure unconditional love. The highest vibration that there is. When I see this space, it looks like a White Light box. It reminds me of a carwash. I can see the animals go in, and I can see them coming out, but I can only imagine what happens for each of us in “The Spiritual Carwash.” During the three days that the souls are in this Divine space, I can’t make a connection with them. But after those three days are over, I can connect with the animals and find out what their transition was like.
In the Heavens
The animals are never lonely. They are never afraid. They are never hungry, thirsty, sad, sick or hurt. The only thing that they feel is love. Pure unconditional love. Bigger love than we can contain in our physical bodies. When I talk to the animals who have died, I always experience a heart opening. My heart fills with so much love that I cannot contain it in my physical body. The love spills out of my eyes in the form of tears. In this moment, I let go of the fear of death because I experience so much love pouring through my body that there is absolutely no room for fear.
There is Truth in the Testimonials From the Animals
I have talked to many animals after their transition. For me, it is always a loving and peaceful conversation because the animals are in a state of grace. The main thing that they would like us to know is that they love us unconditionally. They know that as their companions, we often carry guilt and sadness surrounding their passing. We wonder if we did the right things and if we could have done something better, different, or not at all. Their message for us is clear, it’s okay to stop second guessing ourselves. I’d like to share a few experiences I have had while talking to four dogs who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge:
Bella transitioned 10 days ago. Her humans miss her tremendously. Their hearts are very sad. When I connected with Bella, I saw her wiggling her whole body. Her tail was wagging so fast and furiously that her entire back end wagged with her tail. She had a big smile on her face and she was so overjoyed to talk with her humans. She said, “I made it to heaven! I don’t have any pain and there is absolutely no suffering!”
“Death is a rebirth,” said Griffin. Passing is the most beautiful thing in the world. He said, “Please don’t be afraid, I won’t be alone.”
When asked how she’s doing in heaven, Duchess Grace answered, “I feel all snuggly.” Her human let out a sigh and said tearfully, I always said to her, “Let’s snuggle.” And that’s what we’d do.
Benji was over the moon excited to talk to us after his transition. “Thank you for making the long distance call,” he said. “I’m learning about cats while I’m here. I figure it will be easier if I just learn to get along with them.” His human smiled and said thoughtfully, “It is true, he did hate cats.”
