Imagination-More Important Than Knowledge

One of my favorite quotes is from Albert Einstein. He said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” Imagine living life fully, abundantly and joyfully every single day of your life! My belief is that we can, indeed, live this way.

I read Albert Einstein’s quote in the early 80’s, shortly after I graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Albert’s quote, “Imagination is more important than knowledge” has stuck with me to this day. I love the challenge of it. I love living from the space of creativity and I love when I feel free to let my imagination flow.

In the early 80’s, I was all set to make my living as an artist. I thought I was equipped with the knowledge to do so, and, I loved my vivid imagination. I designed and made some art, sold some art, and worked in the graphics department for a local printer. I created. I wove home furnishings on my loom. I designed beautiful rugs, blankets and table runners. I loved living in my imagination. I loved the way I felt in that very creative space in my mind. In the 80’s, I did not realize how much my imagination, my thoughts and my feelings effected my reality. I had not awakened to the fact that my thoughts combined with my feelings bring forth what I experience physically in my life. I took it for granted that I could create beautiful art but I was not paying attention to all the aspects of my life. Slowly, I started to view the world as a harsh and unloving place.

In the 90’s, things went awry, my perception of life grew faulty, and I began to realize that through my imagination, thoughts, and emotions I had created a life that I no longer enjoyed living. I became incredibly uncomfortable in my own skin and I hit a very uncomfortable bottom. I made a courageous decision to change my life. Once the choice was made, I  began to live life in the solution rather than the problem. I took responsibility and credit for my thoughts, feelings and actions. I began to realize that through my imagination, thoughts become things, and attached to emotions, I bring in everything that I experience in my life. The good, the bad and the ugly. The vibration of it is all here, ready to teach me that all of my experiences are gifts from God. Everything I experience is here as a life lesson to further the growth of my Soul. Everything is here to help me raise, or lower, my energy vibration and the vibration of those around me. Either way, everything that I experience is a vibrational match to how I think and feel about my love for God, myself and those around me in every moment and every experience of this lifetime.

By the early 2000’s, I was well on my Spiritual Path.  I was intentionally and purposefully raising my energy vibration. Through loving actions, I attracted beauty, love, joy and abundance back into my life. I found my Life’s Purpose and my Life’s Mission. I attracted loving teachers. I was led to my beloved mentor who attuned me to Reiki Levels I, II and III. And in 2007, I apprenticed under her and became a Reiki Master/Teacher. In 2004, she taught a Beginning Telepathic Animal Communication class. I jumped at the chance to be her student and I immediately began connecting with the animals. My life as a Telepathic Animal Communicator had begun, and I knew that I had found my Life’s Purpose. Through a meditative process, I use my imagination, thoughts and feelings to connect with the animals. It feels so natural to speak with them and it brings me great joy to use my gifts every day of my life. When I am speaking with the animals I feel the love of God. I feel the love I have for myself and all living beings. I feel the love that I have for you. There is nothing greater than the experience of true love.

I believe we came here to live life fully, abundantly and joyfully. We have been given the gift of Free Will. Used purposefully and lovingly, we create joy and abundance. We affect all who come in contact with us in both positive and negative ways. We create our own lives and we experience positive and negative attributes of ourselves. All of it is here for our benefit. The gift of Free Will is our most powerful gift. We have two basic choices. Live in the high vibration of love, or live in the low vibration of fear. We must choose; love must govern. Love is the natural order of life. First, we must love the Creator. Then we must love ourselves. If we cannot love ourselves, the love that we feel for others is counterfeit. Then, we must love ALL others as we love ourselves. As we see the Light of the Creator in ourselves, we cannot help but see that part in others as well.

Life is lived most fully in the imagination. Ironically, imagination is the key to reality. Do not dismiss the imagination by saying, “Oh, that’s just your imagination, it’s not real.” If we truly understood the power of our imagination  and our thoughts, we would guard them more closely.

Our words are vibrations in the air. If we truly understood the power of our words, we would be more mindful of how we speak. The words we speak, the thoughts we think and the feelings we have are a vibrational match to all we experience. Choose love today.
