I have several students who would like to expand their skills and continue to gain knowledge about spiritual practices through Telepathic Animal Communication. While coming up with new ideas to inspire them, I thought of one of my best friends, Beamer….
He’s a dog. Beamer is a 7 year old Vizsla. We met each other in 2017 when Beam was only a year and a half old. I met his human companion, Julie then as well. I was interested in building a relationship with Beamer as we worked on his interests in Agility and Nose Work.
Julie and her husband live with Beamer and his mother, Addy on an organic farm. It is a great setting for everyone, there is room to run, play and protect chickens.
In 2019, Beamer, Julie and I met in person for the first time. Julie brought Beam to Chicago where I was talking to the animals at TLC First Animal Hospital. When Julie and Beamer walked into my room, Beamer acted like we had never met before. When I began talking to him telepathically, his ears perked and he cocked his head.
He told me that he didn’t think I was real. He thought I was a radio station in his head. I started laughing out loud! It never occurred to me that I’d seen pictures of him, but he’d never seen pictures of me! Before our session was over though, we were loving on each other like the good friends that we truly are. Beamer’s love is so big, my eyes tear up every time I connect with him whether it is distantly through telepathy, or in person.
In December of 2023, I offered a Master’s Animal Communication Class. Students in this class have been working with me through Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced classes. For this class, I thought it would be interesting for my students to “interview” Beamer about spiritual matters and how he can help them advance their Animal Communication skills.
I teach my classes on Zoom, so physically we are seated in all different parts of the country. I asked my students to visualize us sitting in a circle together, cross legged, on a wooden floor with a rug in the middle of a cozy, warm room, Beam in the center. We began with the breath. Breathing is the most important part of any meditation and I was confident that during this time, Beamer would come around to each student and talk to them individually. And he did.
I saw the confident, loving dog that I know so well. I could see him in the middle of our circle. And I knew he was aware of me as well. I watched him go from student to student. He was giving fully of himself and everyone received exactly what they needed in that moment.
After meditating with Beamer, all of us wanted to share our experiences. We began with mine because Beamer had a message for each one of my students.
First of all, Beamer showed me that he was opening his heart and sharing love with everyone in our circle. His love appeared to me as small, sparkly lights or perhaps fairy dust floating gently down on everyone, it was peaceful, like a gentle snowfall. His love was palitable to me, my heart opened wide, and my eyes teared up.
Then he said as if to everyone, “About the heart opening…do not spend too much time on it at any one sitting. If you do, you will confuse yourself and think that you forgot how to love.”
The next thing that I heard Beam say, was that Alison is sweet. She’s like a fairy and she gave him some of the “dust.” (Alison opened her conversation by introducing herself and sharing love with Beamer.)
About Alex, he said, “She’s overcome lots of barrels and they don’t knock her down anymore!”
Then Beamer looked at me and said, “I’m just going to say “Hi” to him.” As if he was asking my permission. Before class began, I told Beamer that he was here to help the humans perfect their practice. He is not here to energetically “work” on any of them or their animals. Since he was politely asking, I gave him permission to meet Lisa’s dog, Roy. Beamer followed my direction perfectly. He sniffed Roy, they said hello to each other, and Beamer continued his conversation with Lisa. (Beamer has helped several dogs through telepathic communication and I wanted him to stay focused on the humans in class.)
Next, I saw Beam lick Susan’s face. She looked sad and he wanted to sooth her.
Beamer told Jade not to try so hard. He showed me that Jade was furrowing her brow, which made her close her eyes a little bit, which blocked her view from all the animals around her that are waiting their turn to speak with her.
As Beamer completed his time with me, he showed me that he has an Etherial Helper. He appears to Beamer as a White Light Guide dressed in very special White Robes with Golden Binding on all of the edges of the fabrics. Beamer’s message for me was clear when he showed me his Guide.
I saw the visual of me as a student, sitting in a circle in class with my fellow students at our mentor, Rebecca’s house during one of the workshops I took from her. During that workshop, Rebecca described her Guide to us. He was one of her teachers. She described him as the most beautiful man she had ever seen. He was brown skinned with deep brown eyes. He wore beautiful White Robes with Golden Bindings. She told us that her Guide came to speak to each one of us individually. As I waited to talk to him, I grew impatient. I wondered when it would be my turn. My ego slipped in and I felt really important to be having such a meeting with someone of such influence and power.
When it was “finally” my turn, I saw Rebecca’s Guide as a white man with a five o’clock shadow, he was messy and unkempt. He wore an old dingy white bathrobe loosely tied with a dingy white terrycloth belt. He showed me that talking to animals and to our Guides is a humble experience and that I needed to go about it with non-judgement and no ego. I learned about humbleness and being of service to others during that meditation in that class. A very important lesson that I have never forgotten but often need to be reminded of.
My heart opened as I saw my dear friend and mentor Rebecca. I thanked Beamer and his Guide, and Rebecca and her Guide for reminding me of this lesson.
What my students saw:
Alison began by telling Beamer that he is a great dog. She saw his hind end wiggle with excitement. Alison’s question to Beamer was, “How can I become a better communicator?” Beamer replied that she should slow her mind down. This would help her go into a higher gear. If she was riding a bike, she wouldn’t have to peddle so hard, thus conserving her energy while she raced forward with the animals. Alison said she practiced with Beamer by giving him a ball of White Light. They passed the Light Ball back and forth. Beamer told her that White Light opens the heart. It’s like drinking a big bowl of water when thirsty. Then Alison said she went to the subject of finding lost animals. Beamer told her to get a paper map and see where the pencil goes. Let the pencil tell you where the animal is.
Alex saw Beamer walking around the circle. She said she was trying to wait patiently, but how would she know when it would be her turn? “How do I overcome anxiety?,” she asked. Alex told us that Beamer leaned in on her like he was giving her a hug. He stepped on her feet. He told her that stepping on her feet is like holding hands. Beamer told Alex that he likes working in a group because he has enough love for everybody. He told her not to take on other’s burdens. If he helps someone, he has to cleanse himself. (Clear his energy field.) He also needs to receive love from others. (I was so happy to hear him recite the teachings that he and I have been talking about.)
When Beamer connected with Lisa, he immediately saw her dog, Roy. I saw him connect with Lisa because big as ever, at the same time, Beamer turned around and looked at me. He was asking my permission to say hello to Roy. He told me he would only stay long enough to sniff [him]. Beamer already knew that Roy is sick. Beamer told Lisa not to be afraid. He told her that in reality she is trying to take responsibility for where Roy’s fear comes from. He said that Roy and Lisa are very much the same. They both have loving hearts. Lisa told us that Beamer is connected to Ascended Master Quan Yin’s Divine Compassion. Beamer told Lisa that her Spiritual Practice is beautiful. Beamer also told Lisa that the sense of self comes from within, not from the outside like all the ribbons. (Beamer was referring to his awards, the ones that he has won throughout his life in dog shows.) Beamer went on to tell Lisa that she should slow down to talk to the animals. Lisa told us that Beamer dissolved a thin metallic shield she’s been carrying. He told her that the shield held her back. She was putting in a lot of effort and feeling that she wasn’t getting anywhere. When he removed the shield, he could bring her to the Golden Light. (I see the Golden Light as the Light of God. This Light is Pure Unconditional Love. A love larger than we can hold in these little human bodies.)
Susan related her story next. She said that Beamer’s heart was open when he sat in front of her. Beamer put his paw on her knee and said, “The first thing you have to do is open your heart.” Then he said “You are feeling sad and angry at the same time. Pay attention to all of the feelings. Like a centrifuge spinning, it can help separate which parts are old and what is new.” “Sometimes old spins off, and sometimes it stays in the core. Pay attention to the connections of the emotions and the physical pain. Set up an environment for emotional and physical healing.” (During her time with Beamer, for an instant, Susan reported that she felt a physical pain in her hip.) Next, Susan told us that she felt nauseous long enough to see where she was holding onto emotional pain in her physical body. Beamer finished his time with Susan by showing her lots of images and he told her to keep breathing strong.
Definitely not least, but last to tell her story, was Jade. She sent me her notes from her talk with Beamer and I am relating them here:
From Jade: I see this circle that he’s at the center of. He is standing and looking in my direction and his tail is wagging. It feels like he’s waiting for… To see if it’s working! I enthusiastically tell him yes, this is working, and he gets quite excited, play bows, and springs back up! He takes a seat before me and we start to talk. I crouch down next to him on the floor to meet him where he’s at. I tell him that I love his muscles in the picture, what a handsome boy! I’m so pleased to talk to him this evening. I told him that I come with an open heart, and would love to hear what advice he has for me on communicating with the animals.
“What do you want to know?” “Whatever you think I need to know.” “Well I do not know you! Ask me a question!” “How can I communicate with animals better?” “Well it looks like you’re doing a pretty good job of it already,” and he laughs a little.
Then he gets more serious, and says that he likes that I crouched down low to him. He tells me to clear my heart, (I see waves that look like they’re made of glass). He tells me, “Make it pure energy like water, with an open heart, the messages come crystal clear, like the water. Focus only on the animal, set everything else aside.”
It’s now that I realize I don’t have any music on.. I almost always have music on when I communicate, it helps me focus. I sense that he also heard what I thought, and I see him smirk! “You can do it without the music,” he says to me in his head to mine. “You’re a good dog, you know that,” I say aloud to him. He says, “Well yes! I do know, I am told often. But I still love to hear it!” We begin to walk. There are different varieties of grasses, we’re next to a tree line. I see some fencing. It looks like we’re out in the country somewhere. He’s taking me to his home farm, I think.
He says to me, “Why do you want to talk with the animals?” This is a profound question, and a simple question. He tells me, “When I know my personal “why” talking to the animals is important to me, talking to them will get even easier. Beamer tells me to find my purpose… My “why”. What do I want to do? It isn’t enough to just be able to do it, but to connect to the love and the service of it as a whole. It has so many practical benefits: For your health, for your mental well-being.. AND for the animals that you talk with too. Everyone wins and literally no one loses…. He gets a cheeky little smile and says, “And I like winning!!” We both laugh at this point, and I give him a wholehearted Thank You! For chatting with me this evening.
I tell him he is good at what he does, and I feel a heartfelt thanks from him. He asks me if we are done chatting, and I say, I think for now, yes. It was a good chat indeed! He gave me some good ideas to think about. He gives a play bow again and wags his tail high. I can see how excited he is to have been asked to help for tonight’s class. “See, if I can do it, you can do it too,” he says to me. “We’re already doing it. You just have to do it.”
As we came out of this meditative conversation with Beamer, I thanked him for sharing his wisdom and his evening with us. It was magical. The love that Beamer shared with all of us was life changing. His message for me was incredibly healing. I believe that all of us shared a spiritual experience that will stay with me forever.
Post Script: After class, I called Julie to tell her how well Beamer did. I asked her to thank him again for me and let him know how proud I am of him. Julie shared with me that she was sitting with Beamer the whole time he was talking to the class. She said that at first, Beamer was very vocal. Then as class went on, he settled close to her. He wanted her to pet him and he kept licking her. She knew when he was finished because he laid down and rested. Thank you so much Julie and Beamer! I am so grateful for your love and companionship!
