Today I talked to my clients, Faith and Angelo in Saudi Arabia. We’ve talked before, so it feels like re-connecting with old friends. Originally, Faith contacted me in July of 2017. She wanted to communicate with her dog, Angelo about an upcoming international relocation to Saudi Arabia. When Faith interviewed for jobs at a job fair for international schools, her main question was could she bring Angelo? She was told yes.
Unfortunately, due to paperwork, Faith was unable to bring Angelo with her when she moved to Saudi Arabia in August 2017, but Angelo would make the trip from Chicago, Illinois to Saudi Arabia in January of 2018 when Faith came home for Christmas break.
In December, when Faith was home, we talked again; this time to make sure that Angelo still wanted to go to Saudi Arabia and to prepare him for his flight. Faith was very nervous about the journey. It’s a long and difficult excursion and because Angelo is a big dog, he would be traveling in cargo.
I showed Angelo that many people would be rushing through the airport and that there are many hallways, many resting places, many doors, and many, many smells. There would be lots of confusion. I explained, too, that there would be good people handling and checking on him and that Faith would be in a seat on the same plane. I instructed Angelo to swallow often to help relieve pressure in his ears. I suggested that it would probably be dark and that he should try to sleep as much as he could.
We talked again in January, about a week after Faith and Angelo arrived in Saudi Arabia. Angelo told me that the plane ride was more difficult than he had originally anticipated. I saw too, that he was suffering from jet lag. His first week in Saudi Arabia was rough. Jet lag to him feels like vertigo to us.
That day in January, while I was connecting with Faith and Angelo, they were outside taking a walk. Energetically, they both looked tired. The idea came to me that I could help them ground their energy back into their bodies. And with their permission, we did so. Even though they were walking on a sidewalk at the time, in my mind’s eye, I “saw” them walking on a moving ramp (like in airports). On either side of the ramp was a clear glass wall. The wall contained their energy and it helped them ground back into their physical bodies. I could feel the energy first in my Solar Plexus (just above my navel), then in my Sacral Chakra, and finally I could feel the energy ground into my Root Chakra at the base of my spine. I could feel Angelo grounding in also because he showed me that he was looking at photos from home (in Chicago). I saw that these photos are stored in his Root Chakra. The Root Chakra represents our “tribe” or our family, our sense of safety and security. To be grounded in our bodies, we need to have our energy firmly planted in the area of our Root Chakra, down deep, in the base of the spine.
Once he was grounded, he began telling me that it was dark in the cargo space and that the trip in the airplane took longer than he thought it would, and flying scared him. As he was telling me his story, I saw a calming White Light come in and surround his body. I heard a beautiful guided meditation written especially to help Angelo release trauma from the flight. When Angelo was ready, he could breath in the White Light, tap into his Inner Guidance, release trauma and restore memories of safety. I felt the fear/trauma lift out of Angelo’s body and saw it leave his cellular memory. Thanks to Faith’s quick scheduling to talk to me, Angelo did not have time to bury the fear and anxiety from the flight deep into his physical, mental, emotional or spiritual bodies.
It’s now July 2018 and for the most part, Angelo has adjusted well to the Saudi Arabia lifestyle and climate. Recently, though, he’s been experiencing separation anxiety and he’s begun exhibiting behaviors that Faith is not so fond of. During the past few weeks he’s peed in the house when Faith was not home. When she is home, Angelo is demanding her full attention.
As I spoke to him, Angelo told me that he feels inadequate. I saw that he’s been hanging onto this feeling since he was a puppy. I also saw that his mother felt inadequate, so ultimately, Angelo picked up on his mother’s fear and he’s been carrying it for her ever since. When I saw where this feeling came from, the idea came to me to do a Soul Extraction.
Soul Extraction and Soul Retrieval are modern terms for one of many ancient shamanic healing practices designed to benefit one’s Soul Recovery. These ancient healing modalities have spanned time and are as relevant today as they were 45,000 years ago.
Blocks in the emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies can effect the movement of the chakras and energy throughout the physical body. They can also create stress on a system or organ. Over time, this stress causes the system to dysfunction. Extraction means to remove these ‘things” or energy blocks from the aura and/or chakras. Extraction of these blocks allows the energy system to operate more smoothly and increases vitality and life force energy.
I do not claim to be a Shaman, but because I am in an altered state while working with the animals, I can help them with Soul Recovery. I see energy blocks, and I can help the animals release those blocks. I can also help them retrieve soul fragments that have been missing, ultimately helping them to feel more whole and complete, centered and grounded.
This information enables the animals to learn more about themselves and gives them additional tools to continue on their path to self-empowerment.
As we began the Soul Extraction, I saw Angelo’s mom come in. She took the piece of her soul that Angelo had been holding for her. Angelo is such a loving creature. When he was a puppy and saw his mom suffering, innocently he thought he could help her. So he took it on, or in other words, learned about the feeling from his mom. When Angelo’s mom took that piece of her soul back, it was completely released from Angelo’s aura and chakras.
We try to protect our loved ones from suffering. But sometimes, when doing so we are actually taking away the opportunity for them to heal. As soon as Angelo’s mom retrieved her soul fragment, she healed spontaneously. As a result, others in her family tree healed as well. When Angelo’s mom took responsibility for her feelings, I saw a beautiful hardwood tree grow from Angelo’s heart. I asked, “What is this tree?” and was told that it is the Tree of Life. It also represents Angelo’s family tree and all his ancestors. As Angelo released his fear of inadequacy, all those in his ancestral history were able to do the same.
As Angelo let go of the fear, I saw an image of him looking in a small, hand held mirror. There he was, looking from left to right, then right to left, admiring himself like a person would do after a great haircut. It was as if his stylist was holding a mirror for him to see his true beauty for the first time. His stylist held the mirror for him to see all sides of himself, front, back, left and right. He was very pleased with the image he saw in the mirror. I could feel his joy and relief, and my heart opened.
Physically, right before the Soul Extraction was revealed to me, I heard Angelo barking in the background. His purposeful bark told me he wanted Faith’s full attention. He reminded me of a small child tugging on his mother’s pant leg, insisting that she pay attention to him right now! Shortly thereafter and as we shared love and time and began the meditative Soul Extraction, Angelo stopped barking. At the end of our session, Faith told me that Angelo walked over to the sofa, jumped up and laid down. He rested peacefully during the entire Soul Extraction and past our session time.
I love my job. I’m sending big hugs and love to all my past, present and future clients both human and animal. Be well everybody!
