Although our holidays appear different this year, and we may not be together with friends and family, there are still many shining moments yet to be realized. One being unconditional love from our animal companions. Recently, many of our domestic animals have formed a coalition. Calling themselves The Spiritual Legion, they are focusing their Light all over the world to help both the two legged and the four legged recover from the effects of Covid. They are holding the space of love not only for themselves, but for the understanding, compassion and trust for all of humanity.
As a Telepathic Animal Communicator, I am witness to many heartfelt stories. This past week I held space for a dog named Cooper and his human companions, Leslie and Martin.
Three months ago, Cooper found his forever home with Leslie and Martin in rural Wisconsin. When they met in early September, Cooper had limited social skills and was filled with anxiety. Although he warmed up to Martin after the first two weeks, it took a bit longer for Cooper to settle in with Leslie. Eventually, though, Cooper began to unwind and soften.
In the beginning of November, the unthinkable happened. Leslie and Martin were called away on an emergency. They left Cooper safely at home and had a friend come to check on him. When she let Cooper out to go potty, Cooper, not knowing her, panicked and ran like the wind. He quickly disappeared from sight. Although Martin spotted him a day and a half later, Cooper would not get close to Martin and ran again. It was three weeks later, and through word of mouth, that Leslie found me.
Although I could connect with Cooper and I knew that he was alive and unhurt, I could not see exactly where he was. I could see him near a field and an out building or a barn. Being in rural Wisconsin, that certainly wasn’t enough information to track Cooper’s exact location.
I could feel his anxiety and I knew he had lost his trust well before he came to live with Leslie and Martin. I empathized with him and told him that these new humans love him very much, that all the two leggeds for miles around were looking for him, and more than anything, all of us hoped for his safe return home.
As I talked to Cooper, I let him know that he will always be safe, he will be loved, he will have good food to eat and a warm place to sleep. His relationship with his people will grow stronger. I held the space of love and imagined that we were all surrounding him with grace, kindness and tenderness. I shared Reiki with him. I told him that it was safe for him to come out of hiding and show himself to a human. I could feel the strength of The Spiritual Legion of Four Legged coming through. Both Cooper and I could feel their courage and fortitude. There were many dogs, cats, rabbits and other species surrounding him and holding the space of love for him.
Fifteen minutes after our first conversation ended, Leslie phoned again to say that Cooper had been sighted! Martin was on his way to Cooper’s destination! My heart lifted, I felt miraculous! We knew where he was! It was possible that he would soon be home!
Upon arrival though, Martin did spot Cooper, but he was still unwilling to get close. Cooper was just not ready to commit to this relationship. Again, Cooper disappeared into the woods.
Still filled with hope and resolve, Martin and Leslie asked for help from a volunteer rescue organization. They set up a humane crate with food, and clothing belonging to Leslie and Martin. Through telepathic connection, I showed Cooper the crate. I imagined the crate being large enough to hold Martin and the feeling of being home in their living room. I imagined the cozy feeling of Cooper sleeping on Martin’s lap or sitting next to Leslie while she reads. Peace, love, safety, joy.
I talked to Cooper every day for four days. In my mind’s eye I could see Cooper getting closer and closer to the crate. I told him that he was not under pressure and that all the two legged would give him time to find his trust, to feel safe, and know that he deserved all of the love that was pouring his way. And that this is the way his life always should have been. Trusting more and more… Cooper found his courage and did go into the crate. He did not have to wait long there, because the two legged were keeping watch and as they praised him for his strength, trust and courage, they returned Cooper home. A little scruffy and with a few burrs, Cooper is now safely home in time for the holidays. Thanks to the Spiritual Legion of four legged, I have learned more about trust and patience. I am forever grateful.

Lynn is so helpful in dealing with my rescue dog, Missy. Her intuitive skills are finely tuned and powerful, yet she is such a gentle soul, that it’s comforting to work with her. Definitely will use her services again and again.
