A Lively Conversation Around the Bird Feeder – Crow Shares Her Magic –

I went outside to fill the bird feeders today and on the ground not far away from me were two huge crows. Of course, they flew away when they saw me, one having garden waste hanging from her beak presumably, to cushion her nest.

As she and her mate flew east, she asked what I thought of them. She knows that they are a handsome couple and appreciates that they are mated for life. I agreed, and told her how lovely it is that they are committed to each other.

As I filled the feeders, I asked if she would mind sharing her wisdom. She obliged, and told me that I should be careful of false information. When I asked for clarification, she said that there are many rumors and misunderstandings, not just during this time in evolution, but overall humans lack the virtue of trust and fear rules many a mind.

She went on to say that she understands why fear is most prevalent right now. Daily routines have changed, and there is much speculation about the future. But now, more than ever, trusting in the power of the Universe is key to changing our world for the better.

Gently, she told me fear causes negative speculation and the stories we humans tell ourselves can overrun our minds, enough so that untruths feel real. Eventually, with enough force behind them, our fears can become our reality. 

“Source Energy is pure,” she said. “We should clear our minds as often as possible by focusing on our assets rather than our deficits.”

“Life is about living your truth and by following your heart,” she said, “I can help you grow beyond limited thinking and help you broaden your horizons. I will help you unlock the mysteries in your life encouraging you to explore through flexibility, creativity and playfulness. You ARE Powerful Beings. You are powerful beyond imagination. USE you intelligence, creativity, and determination. Be flexible. Be playful. Enjoy the mysteries that life brings  your way.”

I thanked her for her magic and told her that she can come back any time. I have plenty in my garden to spare and to share. My wish for her is a beautiful, comfortable and strong nest for her chicks.
